Dear Ann it is hard to believe that you have gone ,the shock of your diagnosis stunned us all We could not believe it was true we were all in a panic hoping that the doctors would tell us it was a mistake ,but no! Time marched on and even with chemo we hoped there was a chance of a miracle. This was quite a happy time . You had great days when we could almost believe that there was nothing wrong After the scan at round 5 and the treatment was stopped we all cried together surely there must be something else Dr Masudsley tried another type of chemo but it made you very sick and then that stopped Arrangments were made to go to the Pasque You must have been very frightened at what was ahead as we were The place was lovely not the scary place we expected and all of us were made welcome We came every day and eventually moved in keeping watch over you Each day you slipped away and there was not a thing we could do We did not know how it would happen, would you know, did you realise we were all there talking to you looking over you sleeping ,crying for you ,feeling the pain of loosing you and when the time came at 6pm on Nov* 2008 you left us after a battle to the end So Ann "slainte" you are with family I hope you are in a nice warm sunny spot you deserve it 2 months later and the pain is still very sharp there are some very bleak days but the sun will shine again you will never be far away we look at your photos often and I have all your txts from Mt Vernon which I will keep Love you always Red xx
